Computer Arts Projects issue 105

Guinness, penguins, Citizen Kane, crosswords, dice, Revolver... I could go on, but why is it that the most effective and well-designed things in life are black-and-white? Is it that our senses are heightened through a lack of colour or just that the eye is quicker to pick up black-and-white images?
