Judge Nokia design competition to win Lumia 820
Vote for the best Lumia 820 shell design and for your opportunity to win the smartphone
Computer Arts teamed up with Nokia to give young designers the chance to create a new wireless charging shell for the Lumia 820 smartphone – with the eventual competition winner landing a paid internship at Nokia's London HQ.
Sadly, you've already missed your chance to win the internship as the competition is now closed and the shortlist announced. However you still have a change to get your mitts on some lovely prizes by helping us pick the most deserving entries. Here's how...
Shorten the shortlist
The judges – including Computer Arts' very own art editor Jo Gulliver – have already whittled over 100 entries down to a shortlist of just 15. Now we're asking you to vote for your favourite entry and help decide the overall winner.
To vote, head over to Nokia's Facebook page, where you'll find the 15 shortlisted entries, and pick your favourite. Voting automatically enters you into a competition to win one of three Nokia Lumia 820 smartphones, which will feature the winning design.
As for the successful shortlist candidates, every one of the final 15 has already won a Nokia Lumia 820 and a wireless charging pillow. The final three will also have their designs made into a limited edition run of just 50 wireless charger covers and receive trip to Social Media Week in New York. One lucky overall winner will also get the top prize of a paid internship at Nokia.
If you'd like to choose your favourite from the final 15 designs, you'd better get your skates on: voting closes on Wednesday 13 February 2013.
