Limited-edition Vault49 poster
The Illustration issue of Computer Arts Collection is now on sale in both the UK and the USA. London-born, New York-based studio Vault49 has created a special double-sided poster exclusively for us, bound into every issue.
Celebrating 10 years since the studio was founded, it features an intricate illustrated map of New York on one side, and a striking, stylised lion on the other to represent the UK.
Printed on 120gsm matt art stock, the A2 poster - Pantone Metallic Silver 877C and Pantone Blue 540C on the New York side, and Pantone Metallic Gold 871C and Pantone Blue 540C on the UK side - makes a striking addition to any studio wall.
Read more about the Illustration issue (and buy it online to guarantee one of these limited-edition posters), or check out a digital sampler of Computer Arts Collection in general.
The poster was created as part of CA Collection's regular guest-edited Studio Project section, in which Vault49 walks through the entire process of creating the illustrations for both sides of the poster, including in-depth video diaries at every stage.
These can be streamed straight from our digital edition, or are available for secure download for print readers using the code DECADE - just register a new account, add CA Collection issue 3 to your magazines, and watch them at your leisure.
Vault49 also has a nice write-up about the project from the studio's perspective.
The Illustration issue is now available to buy online, or sold in Magma and WHSmiths in the UK, and Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million in the USA. You can see some more detail shots of both sides of the poster below...
