The designer's guide to dealing with procrastination

How to avoid procrasination? In many ways, I think procrastination is an important part of the initial creative process. I have all my best ideas whilst riding my bike, so I often justify cycling to get a coffee as part of working.

I think if you're ever stuck on something or feel it's just not right, its no good sitting at your computer battling it. Go and tidy a room, do the gardening or cook something far too time-consuming and the solution will pop into your head. However, once I have the idea and need to make it real, then I'm just kidding myself if I think that going out for a cycle ride is helpful.
