I love these design would love to use them. Got to know how I can make a good use of these.

Please tell - when you make a leaf - you draw one line, then, on some distation another, and only then compare their end points? I mean - is there any convenient way of drawing to edges of the leaf, when their end poins are already connected and then blend them? Otherwise I have to move the endpoints with direct selection tool, which is an extra move i beleive i can pass somehow)
