Yeah, I'm definitely with you as a fellow 30-something creative type. I hated the logo initially because it looked so edgy and out of place with previous logos. But isn't that the essence of Britishness - we're not afraid to try something new and be uber and out there while at the same time holding true to our traditions and heritage. Keep up the good work and look forward to your articles in the future now I've finally got round to subscribing to the newsletter.

*Oh* so that was *you* ... the lone voice out there in support of the 2012 logo! (laughing), well, as much as I honestly don't like it, I have to agree with you 100% that if that same logo were designed by a country the likes of Japan or Brazil we would have been "all up in the shiz" about it's trendy, diversity driven coolness. Hindsight eh?

P.s. also nearly burst into a million stars of pride by the time Team GB hit the floor.
