Having started designing for the music industry three years ago, Kate's typographical illustrations have so far garnered her work for the likes of Cadbury, Dazed and Confused, Don't Panic, Sony and Vice Magazine, as well as super-agency Fallon.

DON'T PANIC POSTER "Drawn real-size on the theme of 'war', this is a hand-coloured piece using Copic and Pantone markers. This was a subtle way at getting back at some people who had been copying my work in the US."

WHITE HEAT RE-BRAND "A series of six 'collect them all' flyers which tile up to reveal a magical island in the sky, illustrated by myself and Ferry Gouw in collaboration. White Heat is an established club in London and we wanted to give them something new and exciting that people would want to keep and collect."

Working under the moniker Skaffa, Teo took the big leap into freelancing 10 months ago and set up Dekaff Avenue Studio with friend Black December.

"We've been doing our studio thing for about nine months now and it's been working out great so far," says Teo. "Now we're a lot closer to the scene we love, the hip-hop scene. As long as we get to draw what we love we're happy, and hope we'll make you happy too."

NEW WORLD ORDER "This was actually mine and Black December's first ever collaboration and was the kickstart to set up our own studio. I think the image shows how we were feeling while working in an office environment."

LIVE PAINTING "When it's summer we try to do as much painting outside as possible, not just because it's awesome to do, but you also meet a lot of cool artists and get to go to festivals for free. Not to mention the free drinks!"

Ari Weinkle is a digital artist from Boston, Massachusetts in the US whose vector and typography work is getting him noticed in places like deviantART. Ari is currently studying Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, while also contributing to the online digital art-group Evoke.

INKPAGEDROP "This is a collaboration between ~lost-exile and myself, for the digital art-group Evoke. In this artwork I used the three-dimensional render I was given as a base for typography and hand-rendered ink splatters to produce a gritty, type-centred image."

HE EH "This was a typographical exploration examining the effects of combining bright and saturated colors with similarly intense, almost illegible, type. Ultimately, I wanted an explosion of colour and forms, but an image that maintained a visible structure."

"I love to draw, I love to make visuals, and most importantly, I love to tell tales with my pictures, hoping to evoke an emotion with them," he says.

BULLY 01 "This illustration was a piece produced for a magazine, based around the subject of bullying and peer pressure within teenage girl groups. The impact comes from the distorted, fish-eye perspective, which I often use to intensify drama."
