Hopefully it doesn't sound odd coming from a female graphic designer, but a lot of my other interests lie within computer games, and I'm a huge fan of the Metal Gear series. I get a lot of inspiration from playing it."
In terms of her career, Eva would like to move closer to London and find a challenging creative environment to work in. Eva's work recently won her a 2007 D&AD New Blood award.

JUSTIN ASCOTT
LOCATION London, UK
JOB Freelance designer and director
CONTACT justin_ascott@yahoo.co.uk
SOFTWARE Illustrator and Photoshop
Justin graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design, and soon went away to direct television commercials around the world, ending up lecturing at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, USA. Now he's returned to London to pursue freelance opportunities.
"I've been very inspired by the radical experimentation going on in the motion graphics field - the fusion of photos, vector graphics and 3D animation - by collectives such as Psyop in New York and Pleix in Paris," he says.
The images featured here were all based on photos taken in Savannah and comped together using Photoshop and Illustrator. Justin also finds that After Effects has freed up his mind to conceptualising and constructing images for motion, beyond the realm of realism.
DOORWAY "Savannah is associated with paranormal activity and red necks. I wanted to evoke a menacing atmosphere with the figures. The free-standing doorway leads the viewer into another world."

"I still consider myself to be very much a beginner and feel I still have much to learn," says Jon. "But with online forums and amazing magazines such as Computer Arts I hope to improve my skills and make a career for myself in digital art."
Having recently finished his degree in illustration at Portsmouth University, Jon is currently working on the cover of a rock album for the band Skirtbox. He also has various other freelance projects on the go. His main inspirations are science fiction and fantasy artwork. With a traditional background, he finds that working digitally enables him to move more quickly from concept to completion.
STORY OF ADAM UNO "This is a page taken from a comic I produced for my final degree show. The intentions of the comic were to raise awareness of the negative side to human cloning. It has a fictional story based on a mutated clone named Adam Uno."
