Sam Glynn is a 22-year-old illustrator from southwest London. He graduated from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth in 2006. “Since then I’ve created images for Notion magazine, 55DSL, All Age Concerts, Brille Records and ANTI Magazine,” he says.
Sam creates his illustrations with a wide variety of media and traditional techniques, which he brings together in Photoshop.
Recently Sam’s been influenced by shapes and patterns: “I find they bring a greater feeling of depth to my already highly layered and textured images.”
SEASONS “I created this image for ANTI Magazine. I wanted to represent seasons in the way that fashion types say, ‘This season is all about such and such look’. This piece started my current interest in patterns.”
