If you’re a new graduate, breaking into the design industry can be a difficult and lengthy process. So how would you like to get a leg up by submitting your work to the 2007 Computer Arts Graduate Showcase?
Each June, Computer Arts magazine publishes a special edition, showcasing the best work produced by final-year students on the UK’s design courses. This could expose your work to over 20,000 people in the design industry. Powerful stuff.
This year’s categories are:
Illustration & 2D, Graphic Design, 3D Design, Web & Interactive Media, Animation, and Video & Broadcast Design.
Being featured in the Computer Arts Graduate Showcase is a great way for any graduate to kick-start their design career. Publication is eagerly awaited by the industry, with both studios and agents looking to sign-up promising new talent. Indeed, many of those featured in previous years have gone on to forge successful careers in the design industry.
The most important thing you should know is that the deadline for entries is
10 April 2007. We know how busy you are at this time of year, but this is a fantastic opportunity for you and your course to gain vital exposure. We wouldn’t want you to miss out.
