Graduate Showcase 2005.
Check out all the animations from this year's graduate showcase.
To complement this year's graduate showcase we are hosting all the
animations from the 3D, animation and moving image categories. We've
done our best to keep the file sizes small whilst retaining quality,
but be prepared for a bit of wait to download some of the entiries.
Trust us, it's worth it. All the animations are in Quicktime format. So
if you don't have Quicktime installed, go and get it from www.apple.com/quicktime/download

Chris Cooper/Neil Gittings - Greenpeace
“This TV/cinema advert for the Greenpeace category of the D&AD awards was created from huge cut-out files that were scanned-in and then layered in After Effects. Rendering the sequence took forever, but it was worth the wait.”

Tom Evans ‘Milk’ and 'Margarine'
“Created in Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Maya, these animated TV stings are a combination of 2D and 3D animation. The animation styles contrast with the dark, paranoid theme of the programme they advertise.”

Ross McDowell - 9 to 5
“The first of these animations is a modernised adaptation of Homer’s epic The Iliad. The style is a mixture of pixel art, info graphics and rotoscoped animation. The second is a social satire focusing on elements of the media, loosely inspired by George Orwell’s 1984.”
