Making objects in Illustrator CS

The new 3D Effect tools in Illustrator CS are used to create impressive results in this section of the tutorial. We show you how to use the 3D Revolve feature to bring a magic wand to life. And then we use the Extrude and Bevel effects to create a set of translucent dice and a handful of scattered playing cards. We finish by magicking up some title text using Illustrator’s advanced type-handling features and the program’s new Scribble effects.
