A video panorama using stills
Jason Arber explains how to build a panorama in Photoshop then pan across it in.
If you often work with photographs and you're using Photoshop CS3, you might want to experiment with the new Photomerge feature.

Take a series of images from a stationary position, such as a 180-degree pan around a stunning location or even your office, feed them into Photoshop and within seconds the application analyses the pictures and seamlessly tiles them together into a single panoramic image.
Static images are for amateurs, however. You can use After Effects to recreate the camera's pan by simply moving a virtual camera across the image. The resulting video can then be incorporated into a rich-media website or distributed via the likes of Flickr, Vimeo or YouTube.
